There are three types of content available for experimentation: product images, product titles and A+ Content. Creating Amazon Experiments allows you, as a Brand Registered Amazon Seller, to run A/B test (also known as ‘split-testing’) on your product listing content. Experiments allow you to compare two versions of content against each other to see which performs better. During your experiment, your customers that view your ASIN’s content are randomly split into two groups. One group sees version A content while the other sees version B for the duration of the experiment. For example, you may want to experiment with two different main product images. At the end of the experiment you will be able to learn what main product image helped to sell more products. You can then switch to the image that sold more products for all your potential customers to see moving forward. To try your hand at Amazon experiments, log into your Amazon Seller’s account and navigate to ‘Manage Your Experiments’ and click on the ‘Create a New Experiment’ dropdown menu. You can also get in touch with our Amazon experts at E-commerce Direct to learn more.
